Join members of local
British groups at an elegant restaurant in a major city
near you on October 21 to celebrate the anniversary of the
victory of the Royal Navy over Napoleon's combined Franco-Spanish
armada off Cape Trafalgar, Spain. Various British groups and local
individuals will get together for a splendid evening to remember
Admiral Lord Nelson, learn a little about his Lordship and the
Battle of Trafalgar, and to promote friendship and further relations
between Britain and the United States.
The Battle of Trafalgar, one
of the Napoleonic War's most famous battles, saw Lord Admiral
Nelson's ships heroically repel the fleet of Napoleon
Bonaparte, preventing invasion of England in 1805.
A toast will be made to the
immortal memory of Admiral Lord Nelson at 8:00 PM. All are
welcome. The event includes a traditional dinner of Baron of Beef
with Yorkshire Pudding, and is open to the public. Reservations are
required. There will also be a cash bar and
appetizers preceding dinner.
Reserve your dinner at this
event, to be held on the evening of the 21st of October.
