Our performers are experienced professionals who have performed at theatres, thousands of homes, schools, corporate events, universities, day-care centers, camps, shopping malls, at the Jai Alai Palace in Mexico, at theme parks, museums, on television, on a U.S. Navy ship, a U.S. Air Force base, for the National Park Service, Legoland California, at the Top Gun school in Miramar, California, on schooners, cruise ships, and at parties like yours.

 Pirate Captain Cane and his Pirate Treasure Hunt! Captain Cane arrives on the scene and musters his crew, including the first mate (birthday child). Captain Cane swears in his crew, and distributes real compasses to all of his shipmates. Now it's time for the birthday child to receive his or her Pirate Officer's Commission as First Mate, and Pirate Birth Certificate--complete with a gold seal! It's 'HIP HIP HURRAY!' for the birthday child, who will lead the Pirate Treasure Hunt with Captain Cane! Next, it's off to the treasure hunt! Their search begins where pirates concealed their treasure hundreds of years ago--right where this party is! Various clues lead the pirate ship's company to their treasure.

Captain Cane comes dressed in black, with long black hair. He is friendly, does not appear frightening, and carries no weapons. Kids love Captain Cane. He is happy to talk about ships, sailing and piracy to interested children and can bring a globe, model of a square rigger, and information about actual pirates to any performance. A Juris Doctor who has studied piracy, he was also a voyage crew member of the Bark Endeavour (full size replica of Captain Cooks's ship) and sailed  the Pacific Coast in it. That's where he learned the pirate jig!

A two hour performance, including all materials for 12 children: $295. Credit cards are welcome.

Schools and Camps:  There are special programs for schools and camps. In addition to the program included with The Pirate Treasure Hunt, there are educational units available. These educational units vary from year to year, are only about 7 minutes each, and can are tailored to different age groups. For 2009 the following Educational Units are available:

This is everything the Treasure Hunt! is but does not include materials for the treasure hunt. It's perfect for larger groups. There are plenty of musical games, dancing, the pirate jig, as well as pirate face-painting, pirate sword balloons (all made up in advance-- NO WAITING), pirate hats and rings and maps... ALL INCLUDED. And it's all only $245 for about two hours of fun! We accept all major credit cards.

Deluxe Pirate Treasure Hunt! Everything in the Pirate Treasure Hunt described above, with a magic show and musical game program. The birthday child is the Special Magician. $425 for the Deluxe performance. This adds about thirty minutes to the program.   Credit cards are welcome.
